SHIPPING: When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Order processing is typically 1-2 business days. *If you are local within the areas of Jupiter, Tequesta or Palm Beach County—your order will most likely be a doorstep delivery to avoid mail shipping and save time for both of us =) *You must ensure your shipping address is correct and that you contact us directly via Email with special door delivery instructions (gate code, mail room, etc.) *Your package will be left at your front door and we will email you an aprox. day / time so that you can be informed in advance.
If your order is shipped via standard mail, we use either USPS, UPS or FEDEX depending on the size of your package. Please allow 3-8 business days for standard ship time just in case. There is no option for rush shipping as we offer complimentary standard shipping only at this time.
*Due to our wax and body care ingredients being temperature sensitive to heat, please take note of your tracking info and bring your packages inside as soon as possible.
Coral Cove Candle Co. is not responsible for goods that have melted on your porch or in your mailbox if you are away or out of town during delivery time.
During holidays, sales, and peak shipping periods (November - December), orders may take a few extra days to process + ship. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order leaves—please note that tracking information may take up to 24 hours to populate, even after being scanned into the carrier's system.
- Orders not containing Room Spray typically arrive in 1-5 business days.
- Orders containing Room Spray can take up to 7 days to arrive as they must ship ground. (Even though our base is an organic SD Alcohol, USPS still considers it a hazardous liquid). To speed up the rest of your order, we will ship all other items in a separate package so you at least can get those faster. The room spray ship time is unfortunately out of our control.
- When purchasing during a sale or holiday, please allow an extra few business days for your order to ship, as our small (yet mighty) team will have more orders than usual to pack.

*Body care items however, cannot be returned or exchanged.

What Kind of wax & wicks do you use?
Our Wax:
We use a luxury, premium coconut-apricot wax blend. It is eco-friendly and made with renewable coconut wax and apricot oil, free of gluten, parabens, and phthalates.
Our Wicks:
We only use cotton, flat braided wicks. *Please note that Coconut wax has a thinner viscosity by nature when compared to other wax types and requires a smaller, cooler burning wick. These types of wicks will curl at approximately a 30-degree angle. You may notice some leaning and curling of your wicks, especially as they burn lower and hotter. Rest assured, this is normal and expected!
Please understand that you MUST trim down your wicks before EVERY burn when re-lighting your candles.
All candles (natural or not) can produce black soot, smoke and dangerously high flames if not properly maintained with wick trimming. *If you like to burn candles for long periods of time, it is recommended that you set a 3-4 hour timer at least to safely extinguish your flames, trim down all your wicks and then re-light to enjoy.
How & where are your candles manufactured?
All our products are manufactured by hand out of our home-based artisan studio in Jupiter, Florida.
Our Process: CANDLES:
Wondering what kind of hard work goes into your handmade artisan candle?
Before pouring our candles, we must chop up large blocks of coconut wax (45lb cases) and place the wax in our melter pots.
Each vessel must be properly cleaned with alcohol first and then carefully wicked to ensure each wick is evenly spaced, measured and adhered to the bottom of the glass.
The proper amounts of fragrance oils are measured out carefully with glass beakers and hand-blended using precise calculations and percentages in comparison to the wax:oil ratio recipe.
After hand-blending our scents, we then thoroughly mix the hot wax with our oils in proper pouring pitchers (we never pour oil directly into our vessels as this is not in our best practice). Wax must be heated to the proper temperature and each fragrance must be stirred in a pitcher for 2 full minutes prior to pouring into our vessel jars. We prefer to follow these standards as it guarantees consistent and even burning from top to bottom in our finished product.
Now multiply those steps by large batches of many candles—you get the point =)
All candles made with this natural wax type must fully cure for 2 weeks to reach its full potential of scent strength.
When properly testing new scents, each scent and jar size needs to be wick tested to find out which size is a good fit and the safest, best performing flame.
Because the molecules in wax changes over the first 2 weeks (as it hardens and the molecules shrinks inside), it is crucial to be patient and wait the 2 weeks before testing each new candle wick. Fun!
What Kind of Fragrance Oils Do you use?
We use clean, 100% Phthalate-Free fragrance oils that are professionally made for candles, skincare and cosmetics. Our oils are sourced from suppliers that are focused on industry safety standards, prop-65 compliant in California and free of toxins, carcinogens and 100% free of phthalates. These are the ONLY oils we will use in our products.
*Most of these oil blends do contain essential oils, please be aware if you have allergies to essential oil blends.
We also follow IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines to ensure every fragrance I use is safe and compliant. Each fragrance oil comes with an IFRA certificate that lists the maximum safe usage level for different types of products (like candles, body sprays, lotions, etc.). We check the category our product falls under, find the allowed percentage, and make sure my formula never exceeds that limit.
This helps protect skin, support clean air quality, and ensure every product is crafted to meet global safety standards — without ever compromising on scent quality.
What Makes Our Fragrance Oils "Cleaner" than store bought candles?
Being free of carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins and phthalates are a big deal to us as we strive to limit hormone-disrupting chemicals where we can in our home and yours.
These harmful substances have the potential to alter our health and well-being.
It's important to remember that while our scents are designed with safety in mind, not all applications may be suitable for every fragrance. When used properly, these fragrances are neither harmful nor dangerous. This is why you may see products offered in a scent in candle format for example but not as a soap, or vice versa.
Here are the requirements from our suppliers who provide us with our oils:
- No DEP - Diethyl Phthalates in formula
- No Prop 65 raw material items
- No GHS "Skull and Crossbones" on SDS
- No GHS "Corrosion" on SDS
- No "Health Hazard" on SDS
Why don't you use ONLY essential oils?
While essential oils are great for many applications, such as diffusers and non heated products—some essential oils can actually become toxic once heated to certain high temperatures (such as in candle burning or when formulating certain skincare products with heat). Pure essential oils are only intended to be inhaled for certain periods of time, in certain formats. They are great if using as instructed, but upon researching are not the best in our practice when it comes to candle making or products that are made and or used with heat or flames. Some can also be irritating to the skin—always read ingredients and check with your doctor before using anything with fragrance. If you have a specific question about a specific fragrance / product and if it contains essential oils for allergy reasons etc.—please email us and we will get back to you with full transparency!

How are your body products made?
Each body product in our apothecary line is carefully crafted by hand, from scratch. After 2 years of formulating and testing, we settled on signature recipes that we use consistently for our whipped body soap, body creme and sugar scrubs. We have created each recipe ourselves, source the highest quality and most natural ingredients we can find, and make all recipes in-house from start to finish.
Are your products allergy-friendly, pet-friendly or kid-friendly?
Candles: Our candles are listed to be made with coconut and apricot blend wax and fragrance oils (some of these oils do also contain essential oils). If you are allergic to coconut, apricot, or any essential oils—you should consult your doctor before trying our products. When it comes to kids and pets—user discretion is advised and you must follow the safety and warning labels on all products to keep your kids and pets safe! We apply these warning labels on the bottom of all candles. As far as breathing in scented candles, we encourage you to speak with your veterinarian and pediatricians if you're concerned about fragrance in your home affecting them. We pride ourselves on using cleaner fragrances free of many harmful ingredients, but also encourage you to be your own advocate and speak with your doctors first.
Body Care: Same advice applies as above. All body and skin products have every ingredient listed fully on ALL labels on each jar / box packaging. Please read the ingredients carefully. They are also listed on the product description page right here on the website for reference BEFORE purchasing. If you have sensitive skin, or are allergic to anything—we instruct you to speak with your doctor, bring in your product ingredient list and discuss if it's a safe product for YOU. Not all products are meant for all skin types and we understand that!
We list on our labels to keep all products away from pets and out of reach of children. That being said, when it comes to our whipped soaps and body creme—you may run it by your pediatrician and / or dermatologist to see if they are safe for your child to try. Our ingredients are extremely gentle and comparable to most of the gentle / kid-friendly type products in big box stores. We have used and tested each and every product within our family home and our young son (who has sensitive skin) loves using the whipped soaps for the added scent in his shower. We also have friends and relatives with skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema who have had great luck so far while helping us test and enjoy using all our scented products without any issues.
Ultimately, it is up to you and your doctors what you apply to your skin! Please follow the label instructions and perform a small patch test first and discontinue immediately if irritation occurs. Know what you're allergic to, and read the ingredients carefully.
Can I Change or Cancel My order?
There are NO changes or cancellations on orders once they have been processed and / or shipped. There are no exceptions to this rule. *Being that shipping is free, if you simply forgot to add something in, you may place an additional order without the worry of paying shipping twice. *If you need to edit your order and it is within 24 hours of placing it, you may reach out via email as soon as possible to see if we are able to modify before packing / shipping.
Can I Special Request a Sold Out Item?
Yes you can! If there is a particular item you would like to order that has either been sold out, or discontinued, simply email us directly and we will do our best to create a custom order for you. If the item was a limited edition vessel, or if the scent was a limited edition holiday fragrance, this may not be possible. Custom orders can be discussed on a case by case basis and the world is our oyster with what we can create. Although something may be sold out or discontinued, we can surely come up with something similar. Your email will be responded to quickly within 1-2 business days and we can get started on your "made to order" item right away if time allows. You'll be sent an invoice to be paid online (or Zelle / Venmo) in advance along with a timeline of an approximate shipping date for your item. Please keep in mind that your request may require special ordering oils, creation of product plus curing time prior to shipping. Anything can be done—it may require 1-3 weeks time.
